Chicago’s Detention Ultra-Lounge – An Intimate Setting for the Elite

Detention is the premiere venue for hosting events – 5,500 square feet, two expansive bars, lounge seating, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems are all included in our venue and available for your enjoyment. Our floor plan is open and fluid. All of the furniture is portable and can be reconfigured to satisfy most any request. The layout was designed as a means of keeping the flow of guests moving in and around the unique spaces in a social manner. This layout offers the flexibility to accommodate up to 400 guests. The modest exterior of Detention creates a unique impression on our guests as they enter an illuminated hallway leading into an environment unlike any in the city.

Custom made furnishings, artistic wall coverings, marble light sources, mirror disc ceiling elements, white oak hardwood floors, and exposed brick coupled with comfortable seating create an elegant and relaxed ambiance.

Our in-house production team can assist all elements of your event. Including, but not limited to, sound, lighting, photography, videography, décor, customized menus and entertainment.
